Here's a painting I did for the creator of Mega Man Keji Inufune.
I was supposed to present it to him at the private Capcom I am 8-Bit closing show on Wednesday night, but lo and behold, he never showed! Well, he supposedly got the painting the next day at E3, thanks to my good friend Jon Gibson.
I was really nervous to do a painting for Keji Inufune. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to say and show.
This is my favorite game in the series, Mega Man 3. The first appearance of Rush his dog. I remember as a kid wanting a dog like Rush that can turn into a floating platform, a submarine and a springboard. I also like the idea of the really american notion of a "boy and his dog" introduced in a Japanese video game. What better way to show my appreciation for his idea?
