Wow, the colors in the painted version are so much cooler and sophisticated than the screaming hues of the digital rough! I've been pulling away from stark flat colors a lot lately, too; they're still fun but adding some kind of texture makes it feel so much more complete.

well.. the top one has more of a manic quality to it the the bottom one feels more saturday morning. both have that swarr mentality of here i am, let's change the way we look at life.. i quote your brother... "It's all good!" and yes, it is.
