wow man this is fantastic! i've always liked inking in flash i've been a bit at odds with it lately, but i noticed that you use the rectangle brushes for different lineweights and stuff? i only JUST started experimenting with that and it's really cool!
i get really irritated cleaning up animation with the pencil tool but the brush is great!
what are the "drawing" settings in your preferences if you don't mind? i can never figure out how to keep my lines from smoothing out too much!
Hey Gabe! Congrats for your awesome work! Correct me if I'm mistaken, but are you using Photoshop CS3 and Snow Leopard, correct? If so, did you find any compatibility issues? Thanks!
I'm been working in the animation industry for over 15 years. I am currently producing and directing at Nickelodeon.
I also paint, draw comics, and whatever else I can find the time to do.

Awesome, I actually like the rough much better than the finished strip, I love the non-flash linework.
So Flash is the big secret. Interesting. Great video, Gabe! Thanks!
Sweet process, Gabe!
Huh. I never would have guessed you used stock; it looks way too lively for that! Being willing and able to ink a unique pose helps a lot, of course.
What's the music?
Also, 1:20 in the second video: FURRY!!!

Awesomeness! Now all you need to do, is use more brushes besides that lame-o PS drybrush.
You use one of the chiseled tips when inking in flash, right? I might have missed that part.
