Radiohead Promo Video
I directed a music video/promo for Radiohead and Aniboom.
This to promote the "In Rainbows Music Video Contest". I hope this inspires some people to make some cool videos.
My approach was to keep as close to Radiohead's established video style. My natural style is kind of opposite of that, so it was a cool creative challenge. I animated everything in flash.
All the After Effects compositing was done by the great Matt Gadbois, the whole short produced by Jon Gibson.
I'm pretty happy with the outcome, what do you think? Too weird? Any hardcore Radiohead fans offended?

I checked it out earlier and although it's not your normal style it does have the Gabe feel about it. The rainbow colors and the flow look sweet!
Hey, pretty cool! It does a nice job of getting the message of 'let Radiohead's rainbow album inspire you to CREATE' across. How well it cleaves to their existing videos I got no clue, as I've never seen any of them.
(Hmm, $10000 to make the video if it's the grand prize, maybe I'll find a copy of the album and knock out a storyboard.)
